Everyone that joins any fitness endeavour wants to become healthier, but not everyone achieves it. This is down to habits and the understanding as to why and what approaches are important.

The Baby Effect!

We believe that the best way to think about your body is to treat it like you would a new-born baby. Implement all the fundamental aspects of care, nurture and nourish and give it the best chance of positive development and cognitive fulfilment.

Nutrition – Like a baby your mind and soul needs to be surrounded with healthy influences and goodness in order to grow stronger, feel fresh and operate to the best of its ability. Let us be that influence.

Mental Health – What we observe and absorb will dictate how we think and how we feel. Give it positive vibes, clear consciousness, challenges, goals and knowledge. This will stimulate sense of achievement and boost your self-confidence. Let us be that vibe.

Movement – Play, be goofy, have fun and move more. All these things are great ways to develop motor skills, increase mood, maintain health and will be good for the soul. Let us help you move more effectively.

Habits – Structure a routine, build strong habits, work on them as best as you can and spend each day trying to become a little better at something. You will surprise yourself how quickly you feel much more accomplished. We like small wins and setting achievable tasks daily increases your ability to start believing in yourself. Let us support you in your goals.

Rest – Rest/sleep/recovery/down time/ chilling/naps. These are all tools to help development. Sometimes your baby will have sleepless nights and sometimes it will sleep like a log. Same thing goes on in your brain and mind. The secret is developing a bedtime or down time structure and routine. Limit phone/screen time, reduce caffeine and have cut off points, no tv in your bedroom etc. It’s about trial and error and find whatever your baby prefers and adjusts to. Let us be your bedtime story.

Your baby will have days where it’s doesn’t eat the right things, it’s stays awake all night, fancy’s a wee cry, it feels sad and it will take some falls. Like you as a person it will have days where you just feel like you’re doing everything wrong.

But what it will always do with the right guidance and nurturing is get back up, laugh, and give your that feeling of complete joy…. SO WILL YOUR PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL & MENTAL HEALTH IF YOU NURTURE IT.

Please don’t give up, start being a better parent to your overall health and I guarantee that the big smile and watching it change and grow will be worth it.
